But Seirsha was a youngin and they did not always pick up the important lessons right away. That was why they had to spent so many years learning. Or so she assumed. They did not get very many Harper out in the middle of the desert.

"Th' blankie'll blog th' scent frome comin' thruh," she explained. She released Seirsha's arm and patted said blanket. Her hand could not be seen in the dark but the blanket did rustle under her hand. "An' id cane't be seein' thruh th' fay-brick, nider."

Dyseus was sure using his skull, wasn't he? More than Oryan anyway, which prompted his brother/cousin to chime in as he continued to look about them, "Yeah. That's what I was thinking." Just to make it seem like he'd been on the same page all along.

Actually, Oryan had been thinking that girls liked parties, and so maybe they'd have gone to check out the masquerade. But.. Barracks did seem to make more sense.

"Alright, this way!" Oryan bolted off in the direction of the barracks, thinking that either way, they'd surely catch up to them soon.
